About Urby

I have various experience with tutoring students from ages 8-20. I have been tutoring since I was 16 and I have over 8 years of experience in this field. I have a very strong math background having majored in Mechanical Engineering and am passionate about sharing my knowledge of math with students who are in need.

I love the Ah-hah moment when a student understands a concept. My achievement as a tutor lies in the success of the students.

I used to tutor neighboring students around my community since high school which got me into helping students who are in need of extra assistance.

I have a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and have tutored college students during my undergrad.

Understanding where the student stands currently and customizing a plan for improvement specific to where they stand

I have experience with elementary school students all the way through college students.

Previous experience/ knowledge and an interest in helping students academically are the must-haves for a tutor.
