About Sandy
I am a retired teacher with 40+ years experience. I specialize in Math, Science, & general elementary curriculum. I have a quick grasp of math & am able to explain concepts easily to students using visuals, quick hints, & short cuts. I have a passion for learning & helping children. I can help your student with general math in grades K-7, including multiple digit division, fractions, & other difficult concepts.
I also have a passion for all the sciences, which is my specialty. I have a Masters degree in Science Education & am Texas certified in general science, secondary Earth Science, Biology, & Physical Science. I have taught all these subjects in private school & public school classrooms as well as at an online school. I make science fun & easy for students!
