About Mike

Teaching math has been a calling of mine since I can remember. I have been a math instructor for over 2 decades while earning a Mathmatics degree, playing college basketball and striving to be a life long learner. I am currently a certified highly qualified math teacher in Chandler, Az. My students and I have competed in Math Olympic competitions and have a great appreciation for learning, logic and rigor. My most fulfilling times in my professional life are those "ah ha" moments when students conquer a concept, and understand a standard they once thought inconceivable to grasp. With the right preparation and practice anything is possible.

While earning a Mathematics Degree, I manage the Math center for student and found a real joy in helping others. 20+ yrs later I still enjoy helping other meet their greatest potential in mathematics.

I earned a Mathematics degree and I am currently a Certified Highly Qualified math teacher for the state of Arizona.
