About Ellen
I do not have a teaching degree, but taught myself nearly all my highschool math.
I like to help students apply math to real world problems, and develop critical thinking and logic through learning math.
I taught myself nearly all my highschool math, and placed well in the math entry tests at my community college. I also took Intermediate Algebra while in college. I tried to teach English to students in Myanmar for 6 months a few years ago, and helped tutor a highschool student in Algebra and Biology after I had been out of highschool for a few years.
