About Gail
Certified teacher and experienced tutor for most high school subjects. Eight years with Virginia Beach Schools as Homebound Tutor and SOL Tutor. All SOL subjects covered and more! Science (Earth, Biology, Chemistry) and math (Algebra, Algebra II and Geometry) subjects are my forte, but can coach English, History, Personal Finance and Math Analysis.
My students and I learn to work as a team and I believe education is a team effort. In a two-hour period, I can generally cover a days worth of school work. We go over powerpoints, take notes together, read together, write together, research questions together and do math problems together - teamwork is the key!
