About Khanh
I am a California Credentialed Teacher for Secondary Mathematics. I have taught all levels of math from Algebra 1 to Calculus. I have 17 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
I enjoy helping and showing kids that they are capable of achieving success in math with hard work and effort.
I graduated from college then got my math credential and Masters in Education.
I've taught math at the high school level for 17 years. Everything from Algebra 1 to Calculus.

I first check to see if their foundational math skills are where they need to be to achieve the goals they are looking for.
I have worked with students that struggled tremendously with math, and students that were extremely gifted.
I don't believe I've ever had a student not improve with my guidance and tutoring.
I have had many students thank me for putting in the time and effort to help them. I believe students feel I care and want to see them achieve success.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Do they have the background knowledge needed to successful at the current math class.
Are they making careless mistakes but understand the math, or do they not understand the math and can't even begin the problem correctly.
Are they understanding what is being asked of them when they are doing the work.

I have had the honor of being taught by Mr. Nguyen a few years ago. He is an excellent instructor and help me gain the foundational knowledge of math that I needed to succeed in higher division courses such as Calculus.
