About Surojni (Sally)
I use to visit the learning center at my campus to work on my assignments. I was recognized for my hard work, dedication, and courageous mind and was asked if I am interested in becoming a tutor for the college in 2017. I have been tutoring from then to the present.
I am a certified tutor at Lake Sumter State College for over 3 years. Besides math, I tutor English, Computer Science, and Humanities.

I tend to identify students' learning styles and pattern my teaching method that will align with students learning styles. Some students prefer the visual or auditory learning method while others prefer both. Also, I tend to give my students control over the task we are working on by having them read or write the assignment. I believe that this fosters students' engagement and involvement, thus, generating tangible results.
I worked with mostly college students and high school dual enrollers.
A good tutor should be patient, persistent, and understanding.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
A student should never feel embarrassed to talk about his or her weak area. This will allow the tutor to better understand the problem and find possible solutions to it.
