About Jamie
Hello! I'm Jamie Murphy, owner of Stable Ground, and I have 25 years of experience teaching secondary science and tutoring math. I specialize in working with students that some might consider "difficult." I have experience with students who struggle with anxiety, depression, low motivation, ADHD, ASD, executive functioning issues, trauma etc. I also have horses on my property that I use to teach emotional regulation, mindfulness, and healthy relationships. I have a B.S. in Biology with an emphasis in Zoology and a minor in Chemistry. I have also been trained through Natural Lifemanship for Trauma-Informed Equine Assisted Learning. I offer tutoring only, tutoring plus equine work, or equine work only.
