About Sukhjinder

I am currently a graduate researcher in Nuclear Engineering and Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I have worked with children ages 7-14, with the objective to instill a passion for the S.T.E.M field.

Due to COVID-19, tutoring will occur online only, via Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom.

I am willing and able to tutor and develop skills most related to:

- ANY level of Nuclear Engineering and Science

- UNDERGRADUATE AND BELOW levels of Mathematics

- UNDERGRADUATE AND BELOW levels of Physics

- HIGH SCHOOL levels of Computer Science

I began unofficially tutoring with a local community center, Hope 7. After volunteering on a weekly basis, we founded a LEGO Robotics Team, and I was tasked with leading a group of students through a tournament challenge.

For college level students, I have always assisted my peers through my undergraduate career, and would like to continue helping others academically.

I am pursuing a PhD in Nuclear Engineering and Science at Rensselear Polytechnic Institute. I am well-versed in most areas related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)

About the lesson

The process would start by beginning to know them as a person, and their own goals related to the subject matter. After developing an understanding of what level the student is at currently, and what level the student is striving to be at, the next step is to develop a set of SMART goals (both short and long term).
