About Michael

We offer personalized holistic education. Our passion is to deliver individualized tutoring. Our talent is in the understanding of how students learn, and providing the essential scaffolding needed for students to find their success.

Success to us isn't just acing the standardized test, but in truley understanding the content and having the social and emotional growth needed to continue their personalized growth throughout their lifetime.

Our tutor has a Master's degree in the Science of Teaching from Rowan University, Glassboro.

He has taught 2nd through 6th grade, with a focus in mathematics and science. His passion for helping students achieve success in and out of the classroom is his driving force.

My passion for education has been a lifetime in the making. My varied life experiences, and my continued pursuit of providing an equal and fair education to my students solidified my choice to become an educator.

Our tutor has five years of general education experience in both urban and suburban school districts. Prior to obtaining his Masters degree in The Science of Teaching from Rowan University he was a substitute teacher and volunteered his tutoring in an urban center.

About the lesson

Our approach is to have a meeting with students and interested parties. From there we will discuss learning goals and desired outcomes. Based on our conversation, we will setup an assessment to create a personalized education plan.

Once the education plan is in place, the tutor will work along side your student to ensure the growth of content understanding and study habits for continued growth throughout life.

I've worked with students ranging from 2nd through 6th grade, primarily in urban education.

I would advise them to leave previous frustrations behind, and to embrace their learning. I can help rememdy the past frustrations, and help them understand the content in their very own way.

A recent event I am fond of was when a student of mine was struggling to understand what the term half meant. I was able to listen to his thinking and quickly adapt my explanation of how to find half. Not only did he understand, he smiled. That's why I educate.
