About Nathan
As one of the oldest professions in the world, tutoring is evidently a critical part of education and learning. Therefore, I carry my identity as a tutor and my reputation as a tutor with pride. I provide only quality tutoring sessions in what I consider to be my area of expertise: Mathematics. throughout my high school years, I took 14 AP tests and scored the maximum score of 5 on 12 of them, I achieved a composite score of 36 on the ACT, and despite this broad array of educational experience and knowledge, I still consider mathematics to be my specialty. As a college freshman, the current mathematics curriculum taught in various courses such as Algebra I, Algebra II, Calculus I, Calculus III, and Differential Equations is still fresh in my mind, and I have the ability to help others through it. Regardless of where I am now, though, I've been where you are! I've struggled through and ultimately excelled in mathematics. I'm not here to judge, criticize, or give up on my students; I'm here to give help to those who are looking for it and to get you where you need to be academically. Tutoring is a very rewarding process for even the tutor. Helping others through their struggles in learning can reveal new perspectives and gives a general sense of purpose and satisfaction to the occupation. This is why I have been tutoring for years. Whether it be just helping out a friend or volunteering through organizations such as the National Honor Society, the Science National Honor Society, or Beta Club, teaching others has always been an exciting challenge that is rewarding and and even sometimes helps me sharpen my own understanding of the material. I'm here to get you where you need to be, and rest assured that I can do it!
