About Rebecca
I am a college student that can easily relate to younger students. Math is my passion and I umderstand how it can be hard to understand. I like to give multiple ways to complete a propblem. I have a minor in mathematics and currently studying to be a Civil Engineer. After I retire from Civil Engineering, I will become a math teahcer.
I have always loved helping others learn, especially math. I love being able to see someone understand the problem at hand. I grew up in a teaching household, so I have always had a passion for heloing others. Knowing that someone can understand the topic at hand after listening to me, it makes my day.
My mom was a teacher and I grew up in that environment.
I tutored in high school. I also help students in college with math problems.

About the lesson

I first start by asking the students what spefics they need help on. Next, I will ask them to work a problem out and see where they are struggling. I then will work a couple probelms out step by step and then allow the student to work on the problem on their own.
I work with all types of students. I grew up around special needs students and love finding ways to watch them grow. I also work with students with other types of disabilities. I personally have ADHD and I found that it is helpful when working with others.
