The founder of this company, Ashutosh Mishra, is a 4th year engineering student at Texas A&M. He has extensive experience teaching others and has a passion to help others succeed in life.

I enjoy watching others succeed and understand their potential. Too often I see students give up on math because they believe that it is too difficult when in fact they have been taught poorly all their life. I believe that each student has their own unique way of learning, and I adjust my teaching style to meet those needs.

I was always one of the smart kids in my class, and I was the one teaching everyone around me what the teacher couldn't. In university, I became a teaching aid and taught other engineering students. From there on, teaching has been a passion for me.

I am a student and a student aid in my university. I have been on both sides. I know how difficult it is for students to learn the material from teachers who don't care or don't understand what the student needs. I also have experience teaching, so I know the importance of enforcing structure and having a plan to go off by.

About the lesson

First I want to get to know the student outside of school. I want to know who they are as a person. Sometimes issues with learning have more to do with what's going on in a student's life than whether he/she understands the material.

Then I want to go over their goals what they want to accomplish. What do they want to achieve?

Once I go over these two things. Then we hammer out the small stuff. We make lesson plans, we go through a diagnostic, go over strengths and weaknesses, and we formulate an action plan from there.

I have experience working with middle school, high school, and university students.

As long as you are willing to learn, everything is going to go well. Come prepared with questions or concerns, and I will solve them.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should define clearly what it is that they need. Sometimes students have a problem that is troubling them, but they can not properly define it. So instead of solving the problem right away, students and teachers spend valuable time finding out what exactly the student needs.
