About Mateo
Hello! I'm Mateo, a recent college graduate obtaining a degree in Pure Mathematics with high honors. I fully believe that everybody can learn math, and I want to offer a tutoring experience that helps you learn in exactly the way you learn best.
The primary satisfaction comes from witnessing the growth of somebody else's understanding or appreciation of math, but I also have the personal interest in treating every individual's learning style like a puzzle to be solved. I am driven by a desire to push you further.
I've always loved helping my classmates learn difficult topics in any subject, but over time I've been drawn more exclusively to math. I genuinely enjoy taking the time to sit down with somebody and really learn something in detail.
I recently graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Pure Mathematics from the University of California, Riverside. Although I have no formalized training, I have tutored many of my academic peers in upper division mathematics as well as multiple friends and family members in high school or lower division math.
