About Alemesia
Our team of qualified tutors are teachers in the local community. Some of us are even blessed to work in inclusion classrooms where we get the opportunity to work with Special Minds, too. We are dedicated to the betterment of all students, and ultimately want to see growth, no matter the barriers students face.
I started as a Substitute teacher. My first day, one of my students, a Middle-schooler, assumed I’d been teaching nearly all my life. I walked into one of the worst school considered, and was actually able to build rapport with little strangers who revered and appreciated my dedication to their success. From then on, I knew I’d been called to teach.
I am currently completing my degree as a professional teacher, specializing in Special Needs, Math, and Bilingual Assistance. I have worked in inclusion based classrooms, where the main focus is to create a learning style that will reach all minds. I’m also a Substitute teacher, where I get the opportunity to meet different students, on both short and long term based, and stand in the gap, teaching various subjects in the absence of the teacher.

Because I like to promote the idea that their education is in fact their initial investment. I empower students by finding creative methods that help them overcome their learning obstacles and implement ways to jump over such hurdles in the future. I get to know the students and actually give them a chance to place expectations of me into practice, once again creating A team-based culture where they are yet inclined to own their education.
Special Needs, Elementary, Middle School, High School, Home Schooled,
you name it!
Search for someone who cares as much about your Academic Growth as they do your Overall Growth as an individual. One who cares about academic growth may very well just be in it for the money, but someone who cares that you grow smarter and wiser, too, now that’s what makes a teacher patient, loving and genuine. And that’s a teacher you want!
At the beginning of this year, I was blessed with the opportunity to have a permanent math class. Because I wasn’t decreed, the district gave the administration guidelines towards hiring a degrees/certified professional, and ultimately used me as a dummy in the mean time. Oblivious to the hidden agendas of the school, I put my entire heart into teaching those students. Dedicated early mornings and super late nights to their betterment and growth in and outside the classroom. Approximately 35 days into teaching, $500 dollars less in my pockets(which was dedicated to the improvement of my classroom, student supplies, and incentive items for success), and a school full of a children who had grown to seek advice and academic support from “the new teacher”, the administration let me know they’d hired someone else who would start on Monday. When I told my students that I’d ultimately be breaking up with them, tears began to flow throughout the entire room in both classes. Not only had I come in, as a raw teacher, and improved test scores, behavior issues, motivation to learn, and more, burn I’d created a bond with students who trusted my leadership. Best moment of my life!
