About Kristina
I am an elementary school teacher with two MA state teaching certifications: elementary (k-6) and reading and literacy (k-12).
My passion in life is to make learning exciting for students and to help children realize that every single student is capable of success.
I have wanted to be a teacher since I was five years old! It has always been a passion.
I have my bachelors in elementary education and my masters degree in reading and literacy.

When I get a new student, I like to take the first session to get to know them and do a few assessments. I use what I learn to customize the tutoring to the needs of the individual.
I have worked with primarily elementary aged students with a wide variety of learning styles and abilities.
As a teacher, I was able to get a student I was working with from well below benchmark to over it in reading fluency.
As a tutor in math, the confidence one of my students started to show this year - and the 100 on his test - made all of the hard work worth it.
