About Ali
I wouldn’t call it a business, but more as a family that is starting to grow exponentially. Solving math problems is as easy as breathing, if not easier, when I tutor the students. I tutor K-9, and have had a couple of College Math classes in the high school days. My name is Ali Alatabi; let me help your child thrive in their math class, and end up on top.
I just have a passion of teaching. I love seeing students being able to perform well in their classes. That’s how I got to teaching.

I will approach the student nonchalantly, and introduce myself. “Hi! My name is Ali, and I will be your tutor for today!” We will then proceed to get to know each other and talk about our hobbies, then get right down to business.
I’ve worked with mostly elementary and middle school students, but the highest grade I will tutor is 9th grade.
I would say to take it one step at a time. If I’m going to be your tutor, I want to go section by section, so we keep things organized. I don’t want to randomize sections or chapters and hat pick them, because that will mix up between the study sessions and the curriculum being learned at school.
One of my students has been flunked twice, and was going to go to another school due to his grades and participation in class. His mother called me begging for me to help him learn because she’s too busy with her job. I took him in and within literally a week, he passed every single test he failed, and followed through on all of his assignments, which he completed. Just a phenomenal boy, destined to be something great in life.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Nowadays, almost every student in the nation has access to the Internet. The question that students should think is, “Does YouTube have a video for that?” If you don’t find what you’re looking for on YouTube, then you should consider talking to your teacher about what exactly it is you need.
