About Isabel

Here, I make sure to relate to students in order to better educate students. I believe all children are brilliant and capable in their own ways, I'm just here to help them find themselves and their potential.

I have always had a passion for helping scholars find their niche. In high school, I tutored underclassmen and have continued that since. There is no better feeling than watching someone begin to understand the curriculum.



I have worked with children ranging in grade from kindergarten to juniors in high school. As well as, a wide array of strengths and weaknesses. This past spring I helped two families, 5 school-aged children, tackle the obstacle course that COVID-19 placed in front of them.

I like to first get to know the scholar. What they like, dislike, and how they think I can best assist them. This gives me a chance to build trust which will in turn create a better learning environment.



I have worked with ages kindergarten through juniors in high school. I am not opposed to reaching further than that and helping in college as well if needed. I have worked with students with diagnosed anxiety, ADHD, and reading difficulties. While I am not trained on how to best work with learning disabilities, I do have experience and am extremely patient with all scholars.



Make sure the teacher is willing to learn with you. If I don't know the correct answer, I will show you my avenues for finding that answer. I think that it is important for students to understand that teachers do not have all of the answers. It is important that students learn how to research their own questions as well.
