About Maggie

I like to find out how students prefer to learn and work with them in that way. We will go over homework/classwork as is needed, and work on things that they are struggling with. I like for students to bring work with them that they want to work on.

I love working with students. I remember how difficult math was in high school and how sometimes teachers don't teach material in a way that works for everyone. My favorite class was always calculus, but I also love algebra, trigonometry, and precalculus. Creating a foundation in these topics is especially important so that continuing math education isn't frustrated and can be fun.

I have three years of tutoring experience and am a mathematics major. I love tutoring in Algebra, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Calculus I.

About the lesson

I like to set up a short meeting (free of charge) to see if I am a good fit with a new student. We'll talk about how they like to learn, and work on homework and practice problems. We can work on what they're learning in class or focus on things that they're struggling with.
