About Nina

Hi There! I am excited to inspire students and encourage them to reach their ultimate potential in mathematics and general chemistry. I am a full time water engineer located in Denver and a graduate from CU Boulder and CSU. As a student in middle school, math was never my strong suit. However, with great leaders and mentors I found the guidance to actually love math and to become an engineer.

Undergraduate Degree: Environmental Engineering, CU Boulder (Class of 2016)

Graduate Degree: Civil Engineering, CSU (Class of 2020)

Just recently!

I graduated from CU Boulder with an environmental engineering degree that was heavily focused on mathematics, chemistry, and physics. I was also a undergraduate teaching assistant during my time at CU Boulder.

About the lesson

I'd like to first meet with the student to understand both their strengths and weaknesses. Next, I'd like to understand the course curriculum, deadlines, and expectation set forth my the lecturer. My goal is for students to not only pass the course, but to actually learn organizational and study skills along the way. I request a copy of the syllabus, the textbook name, and homework or assignments a few days before we meet. In addition, I'd like to review the student's notes.
