About Justin

I started tutoring when I was in grad school and discovered that I had a passion for it. I was teaching college level engineering courses and I really enjoyed helping students learn. I taught for about 2 years before I graduated and moved on to an engineering job, but I quickly discovered that I missed teaching students.

I taught many different subjects from math and science and engineering topics. I taught at many different levels from high school through college.

I started teaching when I was in graduate school. I taught some upper level courses in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, but I also started tutoring students that were starting college to help them understand the fundamentals of math and sciences.

I have a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering and undergraduate degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

About the lesson

While working with a new student, I first undrstand where the student is at with the lessons and how well they udnerstand it. I also make sure to use the same methods that the student is using in class. I then guide the student through a few examples, and then I slowly let the student answer more parts of the question by themselves. I make sure they know I'm there for any questions and guidance along the way as well as encouraging them and praising them when they make progress!
