About Ebony
Unlike some tutors, I understand. Math did not come naturally to me. So not only have I tutored before but I have also been the one receiving tutoring services as well. I remember the frustration I felt when I could not seem to understand the course material. But it was people, tutors, who helped me and supported me throughout my learning process. As a tutor, I support you, I challenge you, and I correct you. Together, we will do our best and learn.
I enjoy seeing the look of understanding on my students' faces. It makes me elated. Also, I enjoy mentoring my students as well. When tutoring, I spend alot of time with my students and 50% of it, is actually working through problems, but another 50% is talking about colleges, careers, or organization skills. Tutoring is the opportunity to share knowledge and advice with my students.
