About Jaap
Hello everyone, I’m a medical doctor and a biomedical engineer, living in Philly. Here to help with math and science related topics for a great price!
I was a tutor at Drexel University for Math and Physics. I also helped local inner city high school students at a library for their studies in various high school topics.
I am a biomedical engineer so I specialize in Math, Physics, Science and Engineering. I also graduated from medical school so it further improved my science background.

I like to find out strengths and weaknesses first, advise a study plan and adjust my tutoring to remove weaknesses and play off of the students study habits. Everyone is different when it comes to studying, half the battle is figuring out what works best for each individual!
I worked with high school and college students of all ages - 13 was my youngest, oldest was 35.
Pick a tutor that listens to you, learning a difficult subject is tiresome and mentally taxing, get a tutor that understands you and helps you hone your strengths to overcome your weaknesses.
I recently graduated from medical school, a big dream come true for me and am planning on starting residency in June!
