About Gavin
I am a college student studying mathematics. All the topics explored throughout math in high school are important to know in my studies and I must use them regularly. In my experience, it seems best to get an idea of what the student knows and then build from there to help them with their goals. Being a student, I know that it can be difficult to understand a new topic, especially when said topic seems useless. In a class with many other students, it's easy to feel that you are behind the pack or that the teacher goes too fast. These worries can be avoided in a more direct setting where you are free to ask as many questions as you want and go at your own pace. I can give quick tips and help study if needed or I can break things down to help truly understand them. Once you understand something it becomes second nature and what seemed out of reach is now a tool that you can use for learning even more. I am passionate about math, and I think anyone could see it as I do if they have the right approach and help.
