About Jeffrey
I am a former grade 8 math teacher. In addition to being a tutor, I write math lessons and tests for publishing companies.
I use my experience as a teacher and writer to identify areas where you might be having difficulty. We then make sure that you understand the concepts behind the math. This often includes exploring relevant math standards language.
Because I write problems for state tests, I help students identify some of the "tricks" that are used by writers.
My focus has always been on students that need extra help. I can also help students who are looking to advance their learning to "get ahead" of their current learning.
I like to make learning relaxing and fun, including students' interests in our tutoring sessions. I look forward to working with you.
