About Margaret
i have a passion for education – whether I am working with young children or adult learners or any age group in between, I am confident in my ability to not only transfer knowledge, but to make learning an enjoyable experience.
I hold a MS in Information Systems from Kennesaw State University and a BS in Elementary Education from Auburn University with an area of concentration in mathematics. I was certified in Georgia (expired) to teach all subjects in grades 1-8.
I have classroom experience teaching middle school mathematics in the Cobb County, GA Public School System. Most recently I have taught STEM, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and Georgia Studies in a private school. I additionally have approximately ten years classroom experience teaching a variety of subjects in post-secondary schools (college and technical schools) including math, programming, database technology and MS Office components and over six years substitute teaching experience in the Glynn Country School System, Brunswick Georgia where I primarily taught high school special education and elementary schools.
