About Joy
Hello! I am a current senior at Northwestern University majoring in Economics, with minors in Business and in Legal Studies.
I have extensive experience tutoring for a variety of courses ranging from elementary to collegiate. I am offering tutoring for any economics or mathematics course ranging from elementary algebra to APs to college courses, as well as for ACT and SAT II subject tests. I also have 2+ years of experince as a college planning/application consultant, and can provide specilaized knowledge on the admission process and tips on how to succeed. I am an undergraduate Economics major at Norhtwestern University with minors in the Business program and in Legal Studies. I have 3 years of tutoring experience ranging from elementary to college courses as well as college applications. I always start with an overall assesment to get an idea the student's strenghts and weakness, and more importantly to see how they learn best. After that I break the material down into sections that will build on one another.
I have worked with a wide range of students including young children, highschool students (classes, AP tests, college applications), college undergraduates (college courses and job search advising).
