About Eve
For those families seeking academic assistance during this time of distance learning, I am grateful to support students and their families by providing additional support through tutoring. I have worked for 3.5 years in early childhood education as a Pre-K teacher, and spent a couple years tutoring as well. I constantly strive to learn and teach!
I've always dreamed of being a teacher, and studied elementary education in college. My hope is to be able to finish that degree, as well as pursue a Masters in Special Education. I did not finish my bachelors degree, because of health stuff that needed to be attended to, but I do intend to finish when I can. In the meantime, I have worked as a Pre-K teacher for the last 3.5 years.
I have worked for 3.5 years as a Pre-K teacher, and started tutoring elementary students when I attended middle school and high school.

I believe getting to know a student is the only way to ensure I am meeting them where they are at. My hope is that the initial meeting is with family as well, since they are a major role in my students life. As of now, with COVID, a virtual meeting would be safest.
I have worked with students of various ages, pre-k and elementary moreso. I also have had the opportunity to work with students with special needs and behavioral tendencies. These kiddos will always have my heart.
The greatest advice I would give is to find someone who will get to know you, push your limits, and encourage you to always do your best. Learning isn't an easy thing to do, but there are people out there who would like to help and encourage you through it.
A recent event that I am fond of is the pre-k students I work with currently! They are absolutely amazing and have gone above and beyond in my classroom. It has been a hard year to see these children graduate and go off to school, especially know it will be distance learning. It inspired me to still be available to those who need it during this next school year and hopefully longer.
