Bachelors of Science in Applied Mathematics with a Minor in Economics and Psychology
From a young age, I always knew I wanted to be an educator. I did not realize I wanted to work in mathematics education until I was in high school and realized many of my teachers explained mathematics in one way rather than utilizing the students' needs and learning styles. This made me want to pursue mathematics education to change how mathematics is taught at upper-grade levels.
I have worked as an instructional assistant and as a student teacher throughout my education. Also volunteered as a study group leader throughout my studies for my other classmates.
