About Deborah
I am a retired middle school math teacher. I taught math for over 20 years. I have a BS degree in education and Mathematics, a Masters Degree in Math and Science Education and a Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have been a 3 time finalist for teacher of the year.
I have experience teaching all types of learners and create an individualized experience to meet the needs of your student.
Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Massachusetts in Edycation and Math
Masters of Education from Boston University in Math and Science Education
Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial in Curriculum and Instruction.

I like to contact the student's teacher to map out a plan if possible. If not I have the student complete a diagnostic test to evaluate gaps in their learning. I like to use part of our time to fill in those gaps and part of the time to work on helping the student with their grade level work.
