About Skyler

I strive to ensure that not only my students are satisfied, but the also stand out in the classroom and be at the top of the class

My favorite part about the job is getting to hear the result of tests and quizzes that my students have taken since they have started tutoring. I have had many studetns go from a 23/100 on the first test to a 83/100 on the very next test!

I also have a passion for helping other and I have had that passion ever since I was young. It is second nature to me!

I am an Atmospheric Science major at ULM and so I have a strong Math background. PLus while I'm at school, I tutor other students at the on campus student success center!

About the lesson

I first want to see where the student is at Mathematically, I do this by having asking them a few questions from their grade level.

I then talk to the parent about what is best to produce an advancement on his or her math skills.

And the I spend the necessary time with the student until his or his goals are met.

I also do my best to find the best price thart works for the family when it comes to an hourly or weekly wage!

I have worked with students in elementary school, all the way up to a college level. And some of the students I have had have disabilities and has never been an obstacle for me while I am trying to teach him or her!
