About Carley

I have plenty of experience working with students of various ages. I have taught dance lessons for six years, babysat for eight years, and have taught in a classroom for one.

I absolutely LOVE working with children! I find it so rewarding to be able to watch students grow and succeed, especially in areas where they may have struggled before. I also love being able to explore new activities with students and find teaching methods that work well for them!

I am currently studying education at SUNY Fredonia. I have done a couple of field placements and will be taking more in the future. I have also taught at Ring Elementary for their summer program and have volunteered frequently in one of their classrooms.

I would start by having a conversation with the student and the parent to see what the student struggled in and most importantly what the student excelled in. I would then ask the student to work through a no stress assessment, so I can get an accurate read of the student's skill sets.
