About Lawford
My first tutoring experience involved teaching children mathematics and reading at a Kumon Learning Center in Tennessee.
I am one year away from completing both my MA and BS in mathematics concurrently. My university (The University of Alabama) offers an Accelerated Masters Program that has allowed me to do this. I have more than three years' experience tutoring mathematics.

I ususally help students by working through homework assignments and test reviews together while explaining concepts. However, I will help a student using any method they may think more useful.
I have worked with students from ages 5-23 in topics from elementary arithmetic to applied differential equations and linear algebra. I have worked with students of many ability levels from elementary school students who struggle with basic concepts to university engineering majors.
