About Mona
I am a certified high school math teacher and have been teaching/ tutoring for 25 years.
I enjoy helping students understand the math they are working on.
I try to be fun and think of easy ways to remember the concepts. I really want the student to enjoy math as much as possible. Although I know most kids do not like math!

If a student needs help with homework, I try to guide them in the right direction instead of telling them the correct answers. It's import he/she knows HOW to do the problem.
I also ask to see their notes from class, so I can try to explain the concept in a similar way as their teacher. I never want to undermine the teacher. However, I understnad that the student may also need to hear a different approach to understnad the concept.
