About Gideon
I am passionate about learning and sharing knowledge. From a young age I was all about science and I dove in headfirst, getting a degree in Physics. I began teaching high school science in 2007 at an international high school. I taught Physics up to an AP level as well as Chemistry, Biology and Math. I was responsible for developing the entire school science syllabus including lesson plans, exams and laboratory work. I designed lab work that includes the double-slit experiment, Young's modulus measurements, acid-base reactions, dissections and much more.
My goal is to increase your confidence in the material and equip you for success in science. I will give you the tools you need to thrive and I will kindle your passion for learning. I want you to really understand all the important concepts and be able to do the math. I will work with you at whatever your starting level is and make sure we get you to understand everything. I look forward to working with you!
After graduating from university, I got a job teaching high school science and had the opportunity to develop the entire science curriculum for the school, including course content, exams and lab experiments.
I have a Bachelors of Science in Physics from Carnegie-Mellon university.
I taught high school science starting in 2007 including Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Math.

I like to begin by understanding where each student is starting from and what their goals are. I want to know the specific topics & content that they need help in. After that we can begin digging into the content and working through problems or teaching important concepts.
I have worked with a large range of students from middle school, to high school, to undergraduate.
