About Camille
There has never been a time in my own studies that I have not leaped at any occation to help another student. I knew I had a passion for teaching at a very early age. Now I thrive on helping students understand the daunting areas of Mathematics and Science. I love searching for the perfect and individualized way to explain a concept to my students. Tutoring is a gift I have been given. Many of my students have cycled through various tutors and stated that I made them understand it better than anyone else. I always leave the door open for my students to choose another tutor because I realize that there may be a student who would be better helped by a tutor with a different style. I have tutored for over 4 years in Chemistry, Physics, Algebra, Calculus, Heat and Mass Transfer, Geometry, and Trigonometry. I have a passion for learning and believe that this passion encourages my students to become excited about new knowledge as well.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics, earning the Department Chair Award for Mechanical Engineering. I am a professional ballet dancer, an avid reader, and an aspiring chef. I love being a tutor, and teaching is something that I know I will do for the rest of my life.
Although I have already earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, I am constantly watching Physics lectures from MIT to brush up my understanding and stay on top of my conceptual knowledge.
