About Brandon
I am a community college student in need of a part-time job, with a love of the field of mathematics :)
I will not only strive to allow my customers to achieve good scores on their tests but also do my best to encourage deeper understanding and intuition.
I love talking to people about math and science, and what a better environment for both that and mastering said material than helping others understand it? Teaching is the best way to reenforce and truly understand something.
I am new to this however, I have only tutored once, which happened to be in person, so how I will perform online is to be determined. I will NOT charge for the time I use if I get stuck on course material or have technical difficulties.
I tutored one person, so in that regard, I am not the most experienced. I did however earn A+ grades in all my high school math classes and so far have a 4.0 in community college. I am currently enrolled in Calculus 2, Intro to Chemistry, and Physics - which all require the ability to do high school math proficiently.

I will spend a few minutes getting to know my client, and from there proceed to attempt problems with different explanations. When I find an explanation that is understood, I will call upon it in the future to adapt to my client's learning style.

I charge $20 an hour - but for two hours back to back, I will accept $30 (instead of $40). These slots are limited due to my schedule, however.
