About Madison

With a minor in education from UC Davis, I have studied the various ways to adapt to each student's unique learning style. I have been tutoring in math for 15+ years, and have experience working with students in other disciplines including environmental science, U.S. History, and writing.

Nothing brings me greater joy that the "ah-hah" moment where everything clicks for a student. I enjoy helping them discover a passion for the subject and confidence in the material.

I have a minor in Education from UC Davis. During this program I shadowed professionals and completed student teaching at elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. I have provided tutoring services in the local community since 2007.

About the lesson

I meet with potential students and their parent(s)/guardian to assess the current level of subject matter understanding, determine the student's learning style, and develop as a team the best method to assist the student. I have worked with students at all levels including providing remedial curriculum, supplement curriculum, and advanced curriculum to meet the student where they are, and translate to success in the classroom.

I have worked with students ages 6- 18, with most of my work centering around middle school and early high school math concepts.
