About Addy

Enthusiastic college student majoring in biology on the pre-med track with childcare and tutoring experiences. I began tutoring in 2018 as a high school science tutor for students with special needs. Since then, I have tutored for math and science at the high school and college level.

I have recently taken Algebra and Calculus, and I am well versed in Elementary Mathematics. I am also very confident and experienced in biological and chemical sciences at elementary and advanced levels.

I bring enthusiasm and professionalism to my sessions to motivate students towards their goals. I believe that time management and study skills are crucial for academic success. I am flexible and very open to feedback: I love hearing from students/parents about what they need from me and how I be most helpful!

I began tutoring during high school as a student-teacher in a special needs class. I have always enjoyed working with my peers and younger students. I began tutoring at the collegiate level after my first year as a college student and have continued to do so since then. 



I have experience working in preschoool, elementary, high school, and collegiate settings as a tutor. I am a student-teacher at college. With an extensive history in child-care, I cater my tutoring towards a fun and interactive path to learning. I also have experience as a student-teacher/tutor for children with learning or other disabilities.

I begin with an intake session to learn more about the student's interests, strengths, and areas of growth. I ask the student to share any questions or concerns with me and what their goals are. I also share about myself and my own experiences. Parents are welcome to join!



I have worked with students of all ages, from four to twenty years old. I have tutored students with special needs or learning disabilities as well as students with low motivation. I understand how difficult it is to catch up when you are behind so I prioritize making schedules to ease anxiety and taking things one step-at-a-time.
