About James
My name is James, and I'm passionate about helping students understand and appreciate mathematics. I have been tutoring students in Math for the past few years and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Nothing beats the feeling you get when a student finally understands a concept that once seemed so complex to them. I love providing students with tools and knowledge to help them become successful lifelong learners.
As a tutor, I strive to make math interesting and accessible for students of all ages. I use a variety of methods to teach each concept, such as using visual aids and acting out problems so that every student can understand the topic. I also like to incorporate humor in my lessons, as it keeps my students engaged and excited. My primary focus is teaching fundamental concepts of math so that my students have the foundation they need to succeed in their academic careers. I specialize in tutoring highschool and college age students; however, I am comfortable teaching any age group. Overall, my goal is to help every student better understand and appreciate math by making learning fun and enjoyable!
