About Xan
While success in the classroom is important, I believe taking knowledge from the classroom and converting it to real-world success is the ultimate goal. Taking classroom subjects and relating them to real-world applications is how I like to teach.
I am a graduate of Appalachian State University, majoring in Building Science and Industrial Design. Since then, I have taught middle and high school students various subjects. Although, my favorite subjects are math. I have also spent time in business. I am a football coach and love being outdoors.
While I teach various students, I am experienced working with students overcoming learning disabilities and with Individualized Education Programs (IEP). I also specialize in NCAA eligibility and recruiting prep for students wanting to play colligate sports.
I enjoy helping folks solve problems. Everyones minds learn a little different. My goal is to help other find the learning style that works for them.
