About Brianna
I use fun and inventive ways to help kids, not just understand, but implament education into their lives so that they don't feel as if it's all for nothing! Starting from 1st grade to 8th grade, I'll give your kid a new outlook on how their education is valuable!
The most rewarding part of this job is watching a child grasp onto a concept that they were stuggling in. I enjoy a challenge and I try every way I can think of to help them understand. I think using stratagies that are out of the box and help them apply concepts to real life or something they are passionate about is key.

1) How does the child learn best?
There are 4 main ways people learn. Auditory(audio/music), linguistically (speach/writing), kinesthetic (action/touch),and logically(technical/applied). Along side that there are people that would rather learn on their own and others that like to learn in a group. I sit with your kid and ask them a couple questions and get to know their interests to get a better understanding on how they learn.
2) Course work
I get a general feel of what kind of stuff they are working on in class then gauge what they are struggling with as well as what they are doing well with. This is done by having an initial test on the materal depending on their learning style it could be verbal or written.
3) Fun
This is IMPORTANT! Having fun with the kid makes them feel like doing homework and learning isn't a task. I'll impliment educational games that will get their brain going as well as create a bond so they feel comfortable and excited to learn.
