About Ayesha

As I student myself earning my Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, I know how frustrating it can be not to understand the material in front of you and trying your hardest, but nothing seems to be working. However, just because there is difficulty learning that material does not mean that we cannot learn it successfully. We all learn better with different methods and pacing. We all also have a subject that we excel in, and I gear my tutoring session with these in mind. I relate topics that seem irrelevant to my students, and once they start making connections, they reach the level of independence required to achieve their life goals.

I believe that math is a significant part of the journey on gaining knowledge, but unfortunately, many people do not have a positive outlook when it comes to mathematics. My goal is to help others gain confidence and change their views on mathematics and their abilities. Once I see that new empowering outlook, I know I am doing my job well, and that is what I love the most about tutoring.
