About Beneeta

I have been a teacher for over 10 years. I have taught all levels from Head Start to Adult learners. My specialties are English, History, and test prep. I have a Masters in Educational Psychology from Ball State University. I understand how to teach different learners developling lessons on how learners will best learn and retain what they have learned.

I got started teaching when I was 13 years old in my grandmother's daycare. I also taught Children's Church and Sunday School as a teenager. I started working in classrooms as an adult when I worked at a Head Start for 20 years.

MA in Educational Psychology- Ball State University

2 years teaching Head Start classroom

3 years substitute teaching K-12

7 years teaching adult learners

About the lesson

For children, I will work with them using different lesson styles. I will observe the student and develop lessons through observations. I will then monitor the progress and use this information to further develop lessons. For adolescents and adults, I will ask the student how they think they learn best, whether it be through hands on, visual, audio, or a mixture of all of these. I will also ask the student what they believe their strengths and weaknesses are in learning. This information will help me develop the best level.
