About Angela

I am an experienced educator with more than 20 years of experience teaching students in grades from kindergarden to 9th grade. I am a certified educator in Mexico with accreditations from Cambridge University and the Mexican education board along with a degree in Innovation in Education from the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM).

My experience with private tutoring began in 2009 while continuing my career as an educator in the private school sector. As a tutor, my emphasis is in Mathematics, Science and Reading in English and Spanish. The service I offer as a tutor has evolved from in-person instruction to virtual instruction since 2020.

Lesson plans are structured based on individual needs with the goal of developing critical skills through the use of real-life scenarios.

I enjoy seeing students realize their potential through hands-on learning and utilizing teach-back methods to ensure understanding. Seeing emotions and expressions from students when achieving learning objectives has been a key motivator for me to continue educating students today.

I started teaching at a kindergarden in 1999. Few years later I moved to elementary school and for more than 10 years I´ve been teaching in Jr. High along with tutoring students of all levels from kindergarden to 9th grade.

I am a certified teacher from Mexico and Cambridge University. I also have a degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey.
