About Gina
I am a graduating student at Goldenwest College with a Major in Crimial Justice and have had a lot of practice with basic math skills. Iv maintained a 3.4 GPA and my highest level of Math would branch out to Calculus and Statistical probability. I can help students who are struggling to understand thier homework, teach them new techniques on how to solve problems, and help them understand what they struggle on and how to over come it. I have loved math ever since I could remember but I also remember a lot of student who did not like math at all. I want to promote how math is used in our everyday life and why it is important to understand math. I hope that after a few sessions with me, you'll like math a little more.
Math is a great sence of understanding how things work and is a great tool that we can take for granted sometimes. I enjoy doing math just as the same as someone who like crossword puzzels; its challenging. Eventhough we might not like challenges, we do enjoy winning. And that's why I love to work with student in helping them beat the challenges that they face because when they understand how to solve a problem; it's like winning, for me and for them.

About the lesson

When working with a new student, I want to understand first what kind of level of math are they doing. Then I try and assess if they know it. Do they understand it? Do they know what the problem is asking? Can they solve it? After I have an understanding of how much the student knows, then we can begin to assess those problems and help create a better understanding.

Details
Each session is one hour -20$
Maximum time per-person - 3hr/day
If you want to get a study group together and share the 1 hour session, I'll except groups of 4 people Maximum. And that means each student would only have to pay 5$
Meetings and tutoring will be online through Zoom.
Scedual times are the best to stay organized. If interested in a tutoring session with me, please provide a scedual time that we can have our Zoom meetings, when you contact me.
Transactions are done with Venmo.
