About Ashley
I've new to teaching. Specializing in elementary math and special needs education. As a special needs step-parent of a 13-year-old child who has experienced the challenges of special education firsthand, I understand the importance of personalized learning and the impact it can have on a child's academic success.
Over the past three years, I have witnessed my stepchild's incredible transformation from being in a self-contained classroom to thriving in general education classes, passing the Texas State STAAR test, and surpassing all expectations. This journey has inspired me to share my passion for helping children overcome their learning obstacles and reach their full potential.
Having personally struggled in school, I recognize that each child has a unique way of learning, and traditional teaching methods may not always be effective. I believe in the power of tailored instruction that caters to each student's individual needs and learning style. My goal is to create a supportive and nurturing environment where children can develop the skills and confidence they need to excel in their academic journey.
