About Maddy
I am so excited to help you achieve your goals! My desire is to enable and equip you with the skills you need to succeed. It is an honor and privilege to come alongside you and support you however way that looks! Every student is different and my focus is to understand what will best help you!
I love seeing my students grow and truly understand what they are learning. I love when students get to that "aha" moment and everything clicks for them!
I currently have my AA in mathematics. Math is my absolute passion and I love to show students that math is not as scary as it seems. Getting to see students grow in their love for math is the best!
I also worked as a math tutor with an organization called Mathnasium! I am equipped in classroom management and was required to limit the amount of disruptive behavior, while ensuring every student’s individual needs were met. I was also accountable for learning and understanding the unique needs of every student so that they reach their individual goals.

I believe when working with students it is important to first get to know them. I believe understanding who the child is, learning their strengths and weaknesses, discovering how they learn best, will allow me come alongside the students and give them the care they need. My goal is to engage students to understand basic mathematics, enabling them to master more complex concepts.
I have worked with students of all ages, from kindergarten to seniors in high school and everyone in between.
