About Jodi
I am a college student training to be a chemistry teacher. I have three years of experience being a tutor for the Davis School District. I absolutely adore teaching and helping people understand the difficult subjects of Chemistry, Math, and English. I have passed the AP Chemistry, AP Calculus AB, AP Literature, and AP Language classes with fours or higher, so I know how to help prepare for college level tests.

I have a high school diploma, and three years of tutoring experience with the Davis School District. I was an honors student and took many AP classes, so I understand how to study and prepare for college level classes.

Start off by sitting down together and looking over what they already know. From there we approach a problem that is confusing together. I encourage the student to think of ways they would solve the problem as well as referring back to any notes or previous assignments that may be a help. My job is to help the student see an acheiveable path to understanding and learning
I've worked primarily with high school students, but I have experience with elementary and Jr. high students as well.
Look for someone who is passionate not just about their subject, but about helping you learn and grow as a person
