About Anita

I love Math and enjoy teaching or tutoring Math. My students tell me that I must do Math in my sleep. I have been tutoring in Math since 1991. I have tutored in High School, College and my students past and present.

I work at a school that the curriculum is all online. I am able to work one on one with the students to help them better understand the Math. I enjoy doing this because I can see it in their eyes when they get the concept.

I have always had a passion for Math and teaching it. I worked in a glass factory for 13 years before I decided to work towards gaining my goals.

I have my Master's Degree in Middle Childhood Math and Science, I also have the Generalist Degree and a Gifted Degree.

About the lesson

I do a short tell me about yourself session to see what interests the student may have. I tell them a little about my experiences with Math. I then ask them some basic questions to see where they are at academically.

I have worked with middle school students, high school students, college students, a few elementary students and also many special education students.

When hiring a teacher make sure he or she is able to explain things so you understand them. Make she he or she is willing to give you quality time so you can ask as many questions as needed.

I have recently attended the graduation of many of my students. I love to see the joy on their faces when they receive their diplomas and see that their hard work really does pay off.
